Effective date: 7 September 2026
Tradiency (“Tradiency”, “we”, “us” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to handling personal data fairly, securely and transparently. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store and protect personal data when you use Tradiency services.
1. Who we are
Data controller: Tradiency
Privacy contact: [email protected]
General support: [email protected]
Tradiency is the business name currently identified in our published Terms of Service. The Terms of Service currently provide for the laws of England and Wales, subject to mandatory protections that may apply to consumers in their country of residence.
If you have a question about this Privacy Policy, wish to exercise a privacy right, or have a concern about our handling of personal data, contact [email protected].
2. Scope of this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to personal data processed by Tradiency in connection with:
- the public website at tradiency.com;
- the Tradiency member application at app.tradiency.com;
- Tradiency educational products and member services;
- purchases, membership and access administered through platforms such as Whop;
- member or community services where offered;
- customer and member support; and
- other Tradiency services that link to this Privacy Policy.
Third-party websites and services have their own privacy practices. When you leave Tradiency to use a provider such as Whop, YouTube or Vimeo, that provider may process information under its own privacy policy.
3. Personal data we process
The information we process depends on how you interact with Tradiency.
3.1 Website and technical information
When you visit tradiency.com or access our services, technical information may be generated or received, including:
- IP address;
- browser, device and operating-system information;
- date and time of requests;
- referring page or website;
- pages and resources requested;
- security and diagnostic information;
- approximate location inferred from network information;
- cookie or browser-storage identifiers where applicable; and
- your website cookie-consent choices.
Optional analytics, marketing and embedded-media technologies on tradiency.com are intended to remain blocked unless their applicable consent requirements are satisfied. See the Website Cookie Policy for the current technical inventory.
3.2 Communications and support information
If you contact Tradiency, we may process your name, email address, message contents, relevant account or purchase information, attachments you choose to provide and previous support correspondence where needed to resolve your request.
Please do not send passwords, one-time authentication codes, payment-card details, brokerage credentials, API keys, recovery codes or unnecessary sensitive information. Redact unnecessary personal, payment, brokerage and trading-account information from support screenshots.
3.3 Purchase, membership and entitlement information
Tradiency currently uses Whop in connection with checkout and member access. Depending on the services you purchase or use, we may receive or process:
- email address;
- Whop user or membership identifiers;
- product or plan identifiers;
- membership and access status;
- purchase or subscription status;
- relevant entitlement and transaction timestamps; and
- information needed to determine whether an account is entitled to access Tradiency services.
Payment-card processing is handled by the applicable checkout or payment provider. Tradiency does not intend to store full payment-card numbers in the Tradiency website or dashboard.
3.4 Account and authentication information
If you use app.tradiency.com, we may process information necessary to create, secure and administer your account, including:
- account and user identifiers;
- email address;
- authentication and session status;
- profile information;
- account role and access status;
- member or entitlement status;
- settings and notification preferences;
- multi-factor authentication information where enabled;
- account-recovery information; and
- security-related account events.
Tradiency currently uses Supabase for core application authentication, database and storage infrastructure.
3.5 Trading-account and trading-record information
If you use dashboard features that store or analyse trading activity, Tradiency may process information you enter, upload or import, including:
- trading-account names and application identifiers;
- account type, currency and balance information;
- instrument and market identifiers or symbols;
- trade direction, quantity, entry and exit prices;

Normal Tradiency journal and educational dashboard functions do not require you to provide brokerage passwords or private brokerage authentication credentials. Do not upload those credentials to Tradiency.
3.6 Journal, planning, review and educational-development information
Depending on the dashboard features available to you, we may process information you create in connection with your trading-development process, including:
- journal entries, observations, titles and notes;
- trade plans and hypotheses;
- market-context observations;
- permission assessments and execution decisions;
- risk rules and risk-related records;
- trading sessions;
- playbooks and tags;
- trade and period reviews;
- review findings and process assessments; and
- links between related records and evidence.
This information may reveal detailed information about your trading behaviour and decision-making and is treated as private member information.
3.7 Files, screenshots and evidence
Where a feature allows it, you may upload or associate files or screenshots with your records. We may process the file itself together with storage location, file type, file size, integrity information, availability status, timestamps and links to the relevant journal, trade, review, session or other record.
Member evidence and screenshot storage used by the dashboard is intended to be private rather than publicly accessible. Avoid including unnecessary personal or confidential information in uploads.
3.8 Mentor and review information
Where mentor or review functionality is available, we may process review requests, submitted notes, workflow status, messages, mentor or reviewer identity, assessment information, educational observations, lessons or action items, mentor notes and relevant timestamps.
These features are intended for educational feedback and process development, not regulated investment advice or automated trading recommendations.
3.9 Security, fraud-prevention and audit information
We may process limited information required to protect Tradiency, our users and our systems, including authentication and access events, account roles, security actions, administrative actions, rate-limit information, permission or capability information, request or correlation identifiers, hashed or pseudonymised request identifiers, affected record identifiers and security outcomes.
4. Information we do not intentionally request
Unless a specific feature clearly requires it and an appropriate legal basis exists, Tradiency does not ask you to provide special-category personal data such as health information, racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade-union membership, genetic or biometric identification, or information concerning sex life or sexual orientation.
Please avoid including such information in journal entries, screenshots, support messages or other uploads where it is not necessary.
5. How we obtain personal data
We may obtain personal data:
- directly from you when you use a Tradiency service, create or use an account, upload information or contact us;
- automatically from your browser or device when you access the website or application;
- from Whop where required to administer purchases, memberships and access;
- from service providers where necessary to provide a feature you use; and
- from authorised Tradiency staff or mentors when they administer an account, provide support or complete an educational review.
6. Why we process personal data and our lawful bases
Where the UK GDPR, EU GDPR or similar law applies, we rely on an appropriate lawful basis for processing.

We process account details, dashboard content, trading records, journal information and other information you submit where necessary to provide features or services you request.
Lawful basis: performance of a contract or steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.

Purchases and business records
We process purchase, membership and transaction-status information to administer purchases, access and required business records.
Lawful basis: performance of a contract and compliance with applicable legal obligations, including tax or accounting requirements where relevant.
Support and communications
We process communications to respond to questions, resolve technical or access issues and administer our relationship with you.

Website analytics
Google Analytics 4 and Cloudflare Web Analytics are configured as optional analytics resources on tradiency.com.
Lawful basis: consent where required.
Website marketing and conversion measurement
Google Tag Manager marketing functionality and Whop campaign/conversion tracking are configured as optional marketing resources.
Lawful basis: consent where required.
Preferences and embedded media
Optional website preferences and third-party embedded media such as YouTube or Vimeo are enabled only after the applicable consent choice. Embedded media also requires an explicit request to load the individual media item.
Lawful basis: consent where required.
Legal compliance and disputes
We may process relevant information to comply with applicable law, respond to lawful requests, establish or defend legal claims and enforce our agreements.
Lawful basis: compliance with a legal obligation and/or our legitimate interests in protecting our legal rights, as applicable.
7. Information you are required to provide
Some personal data is required to create or authenticate an account, establish paid access, fulfil a purchase or provide a feature you request. If you do not provide information that is necessary for those purposes, we may be unable to provide the relevant service.
Optional journal notes, evidence uploads and optional website consent categories are not required merely to browse public Tradiency content. Refusing optional analytics or marketing consent does not prevent access to ordinary public website content.
8. Cookies and similar technologies
tradiency.com
The public website uses a first-party consent system. Strictly necessary technologies may operate where required for website operation or security. Optional categories currently include Analytics, Marketing, Preferences and Embedded media. The current configured services include Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Whop tracking, Cloudflare Web Analytics, YouTube and Vimeo.
You can change or withdraw optional website consent through Cookie settings on tradiency.com. See the Website Cookie Policy for the current technical inventory.
app.tradiency.com
The member application currently uses browser cookies required for authentication and secure session management through Supabase authentication infrastructure. The public website’s optional GA4, GTM and Whop marketing-pixel configuration is not currently part of the authenticated dashboard stack.
See the Tradiency App Cookie Notice for the current app-specific position.
9. Product and UX measurement
The current dashboard does not use a third-party behavioural analytics or session-replay platform to duplicate private trading-workflow content into an external analytics service. Tradiency’s current privacy-minimised UX measurement architecture is not treated by this policy as active behavioural tracking unless and until it is actually activated.
Any material expansion into additional product analytics, advertising tracking or profiling will be reviewed before activation and this policy will be updated where required.
10. How we disclose personal data
We disclose personal data only where reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy.
Supabase
Used for core dashboard infrastructure including authentication, database and storage services. The primary Supabase project currently used by the Tradiency dashboard is hosted in the EU (AWS eu-west-1, Ireland).
Whop
Used in connection with checkout, membership and access administration. Whop may independently process payment, account and transaction information under its own privacy terms.
Cloudflare
Used in connection with website delivery and security and, where Analytics consent is provided, Cloudflare Web Analytics.
Google Analytics 4 may be used after Analytics consent. The configured Google Tag Manager container may load its configured measurement or marketing tags only after its complete consent requirements are satisfied.
YouTube and Vimeo
Approved third-party embedded media may be loaded after Embedded media consent and an explicit request to load the relevant media.
Professional, regulatory and legal recipients
We may disclose relevant information to professional advisers, accountants, auditors, insurers, regulators, courts, law-enforcement bodies or other parties where necessary to comply with law, protect legal rights or manage legitimate business requirements.
Business transfers
If Tradiency is involved in a reorganisation, financing, acquisition, sale of business or similar transaction, relevant information may be disclosed to parties involved in that transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.
Tradiency does not sell personal data for money. Optional website marketing technologies may disclose browser or usage identifiers to their relevant provider after the required consent has been obtained.
11. International transfers
Some service providers may process personal data outside your country of residence or outside the United Kingdom or European Economic Area.
Where applicable data-protection law requires safeguards, we will use an available lawful transfer mechanism, such as an adequacy decision, approved standard contractual clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum where applicable, or another recognised lawful mechanism.
You may contact [email protected] if you require further information about safeguards relevant to your personal data.
12. Retention
We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and for legitimate legal, security and operational requirements. Where a fixed period has not been established, we use the following criteria:
- whether your account or the relevant service remains active;
- whether information is required to provide a feature you requested;
- whether a purchase, tax, accounting or contractual record must be retained by law;
- whether information is needed to investigate a security incident, resolve a dispute or establish or defend a legal claim;
- whether a deletion or privacy request is pending;
- the applicable backup and recovery cycle; and
- whether information has been irreversibly anonymised so that it no longer identifies an individual.
Subject-owned dashboard records are designed to support controlled account deletion. Some limited pseudonymised deletion-state information may be retained where necessary to prevent deleted identities from being unintentionally re-linked or re-provisioned. Information in backups may remain until the applicable backup cycle expires or is overwritten and is not intended for ordinary operational use.
Website cookie durations are described separately in the Website Cookie Policy.
13. Privacy requests and account deletion
The dashboard may not provide a self-service control for every privacy right. You can nevertheless submit a privacy request to [email protected].
We may request reasonable information to verify your identity before disclosing, correcting, exporting or deleting account information. A valid deletion request may cause access to the relevant account and associated member services to end. Certain information may be retained where required by law or where an applicable legal exception permits continued retention.
14. Your privacy rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights including the right to:
- be informed about how your personal data is processed;
- obtain access to personal data held about you;
- correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
- request deletion of personal data;
- request restriction of processing;
- object to processing based on legitimate interests;
- object to direct marketing;
- receive eligible information in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format;
- request transmission of eligible data to another controller where applicable and technically feasible;
- withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent; and
- receive safeguards in relation to automated decision-making where applicable.
Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before consent was withdrawn. Rights may be subject to conditions or exceptions under applicable law.
15. Your right to object
Where we process your personal data on the basis of legitimate interests, you may have the right to object to that processing on grounds relating to your particular situation. We will stop the relevant processing unless we demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing is required for legal claims.
You have the right to object to direct marketing at any time.
To exercise an objection or another privacy right, contact [email protected].
16. Service and promotional communications
Tradiency may send communications necessary to administer your account, purchase, membership, security or support request.
If Tradiency sends promotional communications, they will be sent only where permitted by applicable law. Where consent is required, we will rely on consent. An available unsubscribe mechanism can be used to stop promotional email. Opting out of promotional communications does not prevent necessary account, security, purchase or service communications.
17. Security
We use technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, loss and misuse. Current controls include authenticated access controls, row-level database security, private member-file storage, separation of member and privileged administrative capabilities, rate limiting, server-side authentication, security auditing and controlled account-deletion mechanisms where applicable.
No internet-connected system can guarantee absolute security. Use a strong, unique password and keep authentication and recovery credentials private. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact Tradiency promptly.
18. Automated decision-making and profiling
Tradiency does not currently use solely automated processing to make decisions about individuals that produce legal effects or similarly significant effects.
The dashboard may calculate trading analytics, educational metrics, workflow states, quality indicators or operational prioritisation signals. These functions are intended to provide software functionality, educational feedback or service administration and are not intended to constitute automated investment advice or significant automated legal decision-making.
19. Children and eligibility
Eligibility is governed by the current Tradiency Terms of Service and applicable law.
Under the current Terms, you may use the Services only if:
- you are at least the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction; or
- you are a minor using the Services with the express permission and active supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to the Terms on your behalf and remains responsible for your use.
Where applicable law imposes additional requirements concerning children’s personal data or parental authorisation, those requirements also apply. If you believe a minor is using Tradiency in circumstances not permitted by the Terms or applicable law, contact [email protected].
20. Complaints
If you believe we have not handled your personal data appropriately, contact us at [email protected] so that we can investigate.
Where applicable, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data-protection supervisory authority. Where UK data-protection law applies, this may include the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). Where EU GDPR applies, you may generally complain to the supervisory authority in the relevant EEA member state.
21. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our services, technology, providers or legal obligations change. The current version will be published with an updated effective or last-updated date.
Where a material change affects how we process personal data and applicable law requires additional notice or consent, we will take appropriate steps before relying on the new processing.
